1. Rapid Review
Rapid Review is a fast, low-cost method to quickly asses your department and identify the challenges. Are buses constantly running late? Do kids miss the bus regularly? What percentage of buses is in maintenance? Is everything done with paper and pencil?
2. Identify the Goals
Once the Rapid Review is completed we will present our findings and find common goals to improve your department. It can be improved performance for your buses, increasing the number of riders, diminishing the number of parent calls to the department, improve maintenance schedule, and more.
3. Select the Tools / Service
Once your goals are identified, we will work with you determining the tools and service you will need: routing software, parent app, and digital forms. We will set up your routes, app, and everything else your department needs. We do it for you and, if desired, we will also train your staff.
4. Continuous Work With You
Once everything is working properly we will continue to support you and your department. This includes making sure all software works correctly, routing is updated as needed, providing you with reports, developing new forms when needed, and helping optimize your operations as needed.

Are you a company that sells software?
If you already purchased your routing or parent app software we will work with it. In case you don’t have it we do have preferred companies we know directly but you can also purchase other software if that’s what you want to do. We will work with any software you like.
What do you mean by complete service?
We are not your usual consulting firm that will give you a long report advising you on what you need to do. We will actually do the work for you and will be an extension of your department throughout the year. We will make sure your software is up-to-date and running properly, that routing changes are done properly and on-time, that digital forms are created as needed, and that your operation runs as smooth as possible.
Why work with your company and not a large consulting firm?
Great question! Prismatic Services is actually a consulting firm but we launched k-12 transport to fill a void we saw in smaller districts. Most companies want to work with large clients and ignore or avoid working with smaller ones, which are the ones that usually need more help. Smaller districts don’t have and most likely don’t need a full time router; software is usually more expensive since no volume discounts are offered, there are fewer staff members and the absence of even 1 can highly affect operations. That’s where we come in, to fill that void and help your department work properly.
Do I need to buy any software?
As mentioned before, if you do not have purchased software and do not need or want to buy it, we provide a complete solution that includes using our routing software and providing the parent app, including the GPS trackers. All this is included in our monthly service plan.
What if I need additional services?
We can definitely provide additional services like for example, transportation contractor management tools, changes in schools start times, maintenance schedules, and more. These services will have a charge above the monthly service but, being a client, we will provide them at our lowest possible cost.
